Seemingly out of the blue Friday, Donald Trump decided to weigh in via his usual presidential soapbox, Twitter, on an unexpected subject: Apple’s UI decisions.
Because that’s what geniuses do. They complain. About everything. What did Trump tweet?
No idea. He didn’t say, since posting on social media about relevant news—however bizarrely outside his wheelhouse—would be far too sane. Instead, he subtweeted tech CEO Tim Cook to let him know exactly where he stands on a hotly debated issue circa 2016.
Trump’s tweet to Tim Cook:
To Tim: The Button on the IPhone (sic) was FAR better than the Swipe!
That’s the problem with totalitarian leaders. They don’t like change unless they control the change. We have the same problem we have here. PM Boris Johnson hates electricity. It’s the stone age or nothing.
